City and federal authorities on Wednesday asked for help identifying another person suspected of violence during what began as peaceful protests last month in Downtown Pittsburgh.

The latest, according to Pittsburgh police, is a man accused of vandalizing two police SUVs, throwing objects at police officers and looting Downtown businesses May 30. Police noted a tattoo that resembles a bomb on the man’s left elbow. He also was seen wearing an Antonio Brown Steelers jersey.

A task force born out of the melee – which included damage to more than 70 Downtown businesses and injuries to several police officers – has spent the weeks since going through video and photographs from the scene, looking to identify those who sparked or took advantage of the violent turn of events.

The Damage Assessment and Accountability Task Force has already led to arrest warrants for warrants for several of those allegedly involved in vandalism in vandalism and violence, and authorities are seeking the identities of several others.

Anyone with information can remain anonymous and contact the task force at DAAT@pittsburghpa.gov or call 412-323-7800.
