Investigators are seeking to identify this man, who is accused of assault, vandalizing a marked police vehicle and looting businesses during a protest in Downtown Pittsburgh on May 30, 2020.

Police on Thursday released photos of another man suspected of assault, vandalism and looting during Downtown Pittsburgh protests last month.

Authorities offered little information about the man outside of his photos, which show him wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and gray pants. He’s alleged to have damaged a marked police cruiser.

The Damage Assessment and Accountability Task Force was created in the days after the May 30 protests, which began peacefully before devolving into violence.

The task force has been combing photos and video from that evening to try to identify agitators who authorities say started the chaos.

Arrest warrants already have been issued for multiple people suspected to be involved in damaging more than 70 businesses and injuring several police officers. Police are still seeking the identities of several others believed to have been involved.

Anyone with information can remain anonymous and contact the task force at DAAT@pittsburghpa.gov or call 412-323-7800.
