Police probe carjacking at The Waterworks mall near Aspinwall

Pittsburgh police are investigating a carjacking reported Saturday morning at The Waterworks mall.

A man told police he was sleeping inside his vehicle at about 8:40 a.m., while his wife was inside a store, when a male suspect opened the door, pulled him out and drove away.

No one was injured, and the vehicle was recovered at about 3:15 p.m. on Pittsburgh’s North Side, police said.
