The Mayor’s Office announced Wednesday that the Department of Parks and Recreation starting Thursday will provide meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekdays at the following locations:

Paulson Rec Center, 1201 Paulson Ave. Warrington Rec Center, 329 E. Warrington Ave. Salvation Army Homewood location, 8020 Frankstown Ave. Salvation Army Westside location, 1821 Broadhead Fording Rd.

Pittsburgh Public Schools ceased lunch giveaways at eight schools Wednesday and was working to identify alternative sites.
