A Pittsburgh police officer was injured Monday in a motorcycle crash, Mayor Bill Peduto said.

Peduto said the officer, who has not been identified, was driving his personal motorcycle to work when the crash happened in West Homestead. He could not provide further details.

“It looks like he’s going to be OK,” the mayor said.

The officer is being treated at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Peduto said.
