A 23-year-old Verona man was killed and three others were injured in a two-car crash early Saturday morning on Saltsburg Road, authorities said.

Marc Anthony Joseph Hazur was killed, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office and his family.

Penn Hills police Chief Howard Burton said the crash happened at about 2 a.m. when a car that was eastbound on Saltsburg Road crossed into the westbound lanes, head-on into the path of a car driven by Hazur near Alcoma Drive.

A passenger in the car Hazur was driving was also hurt, along with the driver and passenger in the other car, but Burton did not have their names.

The Allegheny County police are investigating the crash.
