One person hospitalized after Penn Hills crash

Police are investigating a crash in Penn Hills that sent one person to the hospital Monday night.

Emergency dispatchers received a report of the vehicle crash on Leechburg Road about 6:30 p.m., an Allegheny County 911 shift commander said.

Medics took one injured person to a nearby hospital, the shift commander said.

The extent of the person’s injuries was not clear. No other injuries were reported.

A police spokesperson could not immediately be reached for comment.
