A McKees Rocks man was arrested Tuesday in connection to a shooting in Sheraden that left a teen wounded last week, said Pittsburgh Bureau of Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz.

Andrew Johnson, 23, is charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of crime.

Pittsburgh police responded to a ShotSpotter alert for more than a dozen shots fired in the 3000 block of Landis Street on Aug. 28, spokesman Chris Togneri said at the time. On scene officers said they found a 14-year-old boy who had suffered a graze wound to his shoulder. He was transported by medics from the scene in stable condition.

Witnesses told police that a vehicle approached the teen. A passenger got out and began chasing and shooting him, Togneri said.

Further details were not immediately available.
