Cute, they were.

The force was strong with six newborns at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood as they donned holiday caps with green Yoda ears in celebration of the season.

The Baby Yoda look is inspired by “Star Wars: The Mandalorian,” an original TV series on the Disney+ network. The newborns also sported onesies that said “Merry I Must Be” and “Cute I Am.”

The adorable caps were crocheted by nurse Caitlin Pechin, who also has used her talents to create tiny Mister Rogers sweaters, dill pickles and other themed items over the years for babies born at the hospital.

New parents Bri and Sean McGowan of West Mifflin were especially excited about the Yoda cap given to their son Jackson River, who was born Friday. Bri McGowan’s due date was Dec. 20 — opening day of the new film, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” They joked that if she went into labor during the movie, the baby would have to wait.
