Officials said Pittsburgh police arrested four juveniles they say injured and carjacked a man inside the parking garage at the Target in East Liberty neighborhood Wednesday.

Police are still investigating.

The suspects were admitted to Shuman Juvenile Detention Center. Further details about the arrests were not available Thursday morning.

Emergency dispatchers received a 911 call Wednesday reporting the stolen car in the lower parking garage of the store on Penn Avenue, said Pittsburgh Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz.

Officers arrived to find a man with a “significant wound to the back of his head,” Cruz said.

Police said it was not clear whether a weapon was used to injure the man.

Before medics took him to a nearby hospital, the injured man told police that several males, possibly under 18, attacked him and stole his blue 2011 Jeep Patriot.

No one else was injured.

At least two men ran from the parking lot on foot, according to police.
