Two winning Pennsylvania Lottery tickets were sold in Allegheny County.
A Match 6 ticket that won $1.8 million Wednesday was sold at Two Louie’s Market on Penn Avenue in the Strip District, and a Cash 5 ticket that won Wednesday’s drawing worth $500,000 was at the Smoker Friendly store on Golden Mile Highway in Plum.
“That’s so awesome,”said Lisa Kasinic, the owner of Two Louie’s Market.
As of Thursday morning, she didn’t know who bought the ticket.
“I can’t wait to see who it was,” Kasinic said. “We probably know 90 percent of our customers by name.”
Two Louie’s will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Smoker Friendly will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning Cash 5 ticket.
Manager Vince Orgera said he knew who won the drawing but wouldn’t give the name.
“We’re all excited about it for our customers,” Orgera said.
The winners have a year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize, according to the lottery.
