The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory Sunday for Southwestern Pennsylvania and parts of Ohio and West Virginia.
The agency expects temperatures in the low to mid-30s from 2-10 a.m.
It advises residents to cover plants that can be harmed by the cold.

Meteorologist Lee Hendricks said the frost would mainly impact low-lying areas. He said residents can cover plants with light plastic or hit them in the morning with a light spray of water to prevent frost burning.
“(Sunday) is actually going to be very nice day, sunny with temperatures in the high 60s,” he said. “It should be clear Sunday night with temperatures in the low 40s.
The frost won’t necessarily bring relief for those suffering from allergies.
“You almost need a freeze rather than a frost,” Hendricks said. “Believe me, I wish the ragweed would die a horrible and immediate death.”
He said the Columbus Day holiday Monday is expected to be clear with highs in the 60s, but a little windy.
