With the terms of several members about to expire, Forest Hills Borough Council is seeking volunteers to serve on several boards and committees beginning in March 2020.

Current volunteers whose terms are expiring must contact the Borough Office to indicate their interest in reapplying for the position.

Vacancies include: Civil Service Commission, Environmental Advisory Council, Neighborhood Crime Resistance, Planning Commission, Recreation Board, Shade Tree & Shrub Committee, and Zoning Hearing Board.

Council will review all applications and consider filling positions at its February 2020 business meeting.

Interested Forest Hills residents should send an application letter, with the name of committee(s) of interest and a recent resume or brief to the Borough Office, 4400 Greenburg Pike, Pittsburgh, PA 15221. Write “volunteer” in the bottom left corner of the envelope.

The application deadline is Feb. 3.

For further information, contact the Borough Office at 412-351-7330.
