Duquesne police said they confiscated $15,000 in cash and 13 bags of marijuana in a weekend traffic stop.

According to police, Anthony Barton, 29, of Monongahela, was circling North Second and North Fifth streets about 11:30 a.m. Sunday. He then was driving 51 mph in a 35-mph zone along Route 387, police said.

After stopping Barton, police said they found 13 bags of marijuana, a scale, baggies, cellular phones and about $15,000 in cash.

Barton was charged with drug offenses, driving through a stop sign and speeding.

He was arraigned at Allegheny County Night Court and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug. 27.
