Pine-Richland School Board president Greg DiTullio will remain in the leadership position in 2023 after the board unanimously confirmed him for another term.

“This past year has been interesting,” DiTullio said at the board’s Dec. 5 reorganization meeting. “I think we’re all better today than we were last year … but we’re not where we want to be. We have room to grow, but we have grown.”

DiTullio, who joined the board in 2014, served as board president for the first time in 2022. The 51-year-old represents Pine Township Region 1.

The Penn State graduate is currently the district manager of Kroff Chemical Company.

The board also reappointed director Amy Terchick as vice president.

Terchick, who served as vice president in 2022, joined the board in 2021 as part of the “Keep PR Kids first” movement. Terchick and now-fellow directors Lisa Hillman, Christina Brussalis and Joseph Cassidy ran on a platform of safety, transparency and parental rights in education.

“We have work to do, but I think we’ll get there,” Terchick said after her unanimous appointment. She represents Pine and Richland townships Region 2.

Additionally, Hillman was appointed to serve as Pennsylvania School Boards Association representative, director Matthew Mehalik was appointed to serve as A.W. Beattie Career Center representative, Terchick was appointed to serve as Pine Township Parks and Recreation Board representative, Brussalis was appointed to serve as Pine-Richland Opportunities Fund representative, and director Peter Lyons was appointed to serve as Food Service Advisory and Wellness Committee representative.
