Northern Tier Regional Library, 4015 Dickey Road in Gibsonia, offers a number of in-person and virtual programs for patrons. For more information or to register for events, call 724-449-2665 or visit northerntierlibrary.org.

The library will be closed on Nov. 26 for Thanksgiving.

New fiction titles

New fiction titles available at the library this month include (but are not limited to): “The Law of Innocence” by Michael Connelly, “Here is the Beehive,” by Sarah Crossan, “Head Wounds” by Michael McGarrity, “The Return” by Nicholas Sparks and “All that Glitters” by Danielle Steele.

Take home crafts

Kids – and adults – of all ages are invited to create and enjoy a simple weekly take-home craft with the library. Call or register online to reserve a weekly supply kit that can be picked up and enjoyed at home. This program will run Dec. 7-21. Registration is required each week to account for supplies.

Pine Tree Shoppes Bookmobile

The Bookmobile stops at the Pine Tree Shoppes in Wexford each Friday from 12:30-2:45 p.m. This service is provided by the Northern Tier Regional Library.

The Bookmobile location was chosen for the convenience of Pine Township residents who live along the Route 19 corridor. It provides a “closer to home” alternative to the main library in Richland Township and the Pine Center branch in the Pine Richland High School. Patrons can request items from libraries across Allegheny County to be picked up at the Bookmobile stop.
