Toy collection underway

The 11th annual “Fill that Truck” holiday toy drive to aid local families in the Pittsburgh area through the holiday season.

It’s sponsored by Walnut Grill and Women’s Choice Network.

Through Dec. 10, new unwrapped toys may be dropped off at all Walnut Grill Restaurants. Toys will be loaded from Walnut Grill Wexford to deliver these special presents for the holidays. The toy-delivering truck is being donated by Two Men and a Truck.

According to Patty Bittle, marketing coordinator for Walnut Grill, efforts helped more than 1,300 families last year. It’s hoped to reach over 1,500 families this year. Over the first 10 years, the generous donators have collectively helped over 8,000 families provide toys to their children.
