Penn-Trafford area: Church festival, chicken barbecue, seniors meet

Trafford church holding festival

St. Regis Parish in Trafford is planning a free two-day community parish festival with food, games and music from 6 to 10 p.m. July 22 and 23 on the church grounds at 517 Homewood Ave.

Manor Lions plan chicken barbecue

Manor Lions Club will be holding a chicken barbecue fundraiser on July 23 from 11 a.m. until sellout in the parking lot of Roberts Roofing, Route 993, Manor.

A half chicken, roll, applesauce, cookie and a drink is $10. Funds raised go to Lions Charities and the local community. Contact jrare4@comcast.net for more information.

GBoyz set to entertain seniors

Super Seniors of Westmoreland County will meet at noon Aug. 2 in the Community United Methodist Church, Route 130, Harrison City. Entertainment will be The GBoyz. Lunch is $6 and reservations are required of new attendees by calling Linda Briggs 724-744-3993.
