DUI, drug cases among those recently handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court

Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• John Baldridge, 58, of Penn Hills on charges of cruelty to animals and neglect of animals. Charges were filed Jan. 25.

• Todd Clark, 32, of Pittsburgh on charges of theft by unlawful taking. Charges were filed June 26.

• Anthony Neely, 39, of Carnegie on charges of public drunkenness, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of controlled substances. Wilkins police filed the charges Aug. 30.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Rudolph McBride III, 22, of Penn Hills on charges of possession of controlled substances and possession with intent to deliver. Charges were filed Sept. 3, 2019.

• Kimberly Fenton, 40, of Pittsburgh on charges of driving under the influence. Charges were filed Jan. 13.

• Adam Lewis, 40, of Verona on charges of driving under the influence, failure to keep right, driving at unsafe speed and careless driving. Charges were filed Feb. 24.

• Trent Heard, 22, of Verona on charges of driving under the influence, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, disregarding traffic lane and careless driving. Charges were filed Feb. 27.

• Raheem Brantley, 33, no address given, on charges of possession of instruments of a crime, criminal use of a communication facility and eight counts of forgery. State police filed the charges May 7.

• Robert Ficklin, 48, of Penn Hills on charges of driving under the influence and careless driving. Charges were filed April 22.

• Matthew Calfo, 31, of Verona on charges of possession of controlled substances, driving under the influence, careless driving and two counts of accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property. Charges were filed May 21.

• Kenneth Creekmore, 67, of Verona on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession with intent to deliver. Swissvale police filed the charges May 8.

• Kevon Smith, 21, of Penn Hills on charges of theft by deception and insurance fraud. State Attorney General’s Office filed the charges Aug. 20.
