This year’s graduating class at Riverview High School battled some intermittent downpours to get their diplomas, but no spirits were dampened. By the end of the ceremony, the newly minted graduates were able to throw their caps in the air under a double rainbow.
“This is an extraordinary group of young people, who have broken school records in the classroom, on our athletics fields and on our debate stages,” Superintendent Neil English said. “They are cohesive, kind and excellent ambassadors of our school district.”
The 47 students gathered June 6 at Riverside Park on to walk the stage after participating in a parade featuring more than 30 vehicles showcasing the graduates.
