Three candidates were on the ballot, vying for two seats on Penn Hills council.

Democrat and current Penn Hills Deputy Mayor Catherine Sapp received the most votes with 5,749. Joanne Fascio, a newcomer who was cross-filed, will also receive a seat on council, with 4,344 votes.

Incumbent and Republican John Petrucci had 3,206 votes – not enough to be re-elected.
