Criminal mischief, drug charges among those handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court March 8 and 15, 2021

Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• April Hailstork, 44, 0f Penn Hills on charges of accident involving damage of attended vehicle/property, driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility. Charges were filed Dec. 16, 2019.

• Christopher Williams, 31, of Penn Hills on charges of loitering and prowling at night, criminal mischief and attempted criminal trespass. Charges were filed Oct. 2.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Shaun Johnson, 32, of Pittsburgh on charges of possession of controlled substances, careless driving, driving under the influence and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Wilkins police filed the charges Oct. 10.

• Perrie Vasser, 40, of Penn Hills on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of controlled substances. Charges were filed April 1.

• Gerald Miller Jr., 44, of Penn Hills on charges of driving with a suspended license. Charges were filed March 20, 2020.

• Vincent Cichinelli, 39, of Penn Hills on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substances, driving under the influence and disregard traffic lane. Charges were filed Aug. 11.

• Mark Thompkins, 60, of Pittsburgh on charges of retail theft. Charges were filed Feb. 6.

Thompkins went before the judge on two separate cases. He waived preliminary hearings on charges of retail theft. Charges in both cases were filed Feb. 11.
