3 incumbents retain seats on Penn Hills School Board, 1 newcomer elected

Seven candidates were on the ballot for four, four-year seats on Penn Hills School Board, according to the Allegheny County Office of Elections.

The top vote-getters were Democrats Marisa Jamison with 5,399, Nicole Richardson with 5,273, Evelyn Herbert with 4,922 and Joseph B. Capozoli, who was cross-filed, with 4,023.

Richardson is the only newcomer to be elected.

Incumbent Michael F. Tauro received 2,333 votes, newcomer Nicholas Lombardo received 2,262 and newcomer Lawrence Choby received 2,182. All three are Republicans.

These results are unofficial.
