Two Pittsburgh roads that were closed Saturday because of mudslides have reopened.

Pittsburgh Public Safety reported on Twitter that West Liberty Avenue was reopened to both inbound and outbound traffic late Saturday afternoon after it was closed several hours earlier.

A mudslide also caused the closure of the ramp that carries traffic from southbound Route 19 and northbound Route 51 onto the Parkway West in Pittsburgh.

The ramp carries traffic from southbound Route 19, northbound Route 51, and Woodville Avenue to westbound Interstate 376 (Parkway West).

PennDOT officials said it reopened about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting 511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
