St. Agnes Church to hold fish fry

St. Agnes Catholic Church, 11400 St. Agnes Lane, North Huntingdon, will hold its annual Lenten fish fry on six consecutive Fridays beginning Feb. 19 from 2 to 7 p.m.

Meals are drive-through only; phone orders are not being accepted. Credit/debit cards will be accepted.

The menu consists of seasoned, panko-breaded cod and Parmesan-crusted baked cod. Side orders are halushki, pierogi, French fries, coleslaw and homemade soup of the week.

Dinners are $10 and include one side, sandwich roll and coleslaw. Individual items are available for purchase.

Irwin seeking public works help

Irwin wants hire two temporary employees for the street department this summer.

The borough will seek candidates to work 14 weeks in May, June and July, for a maximum of 30 hours per week at $13 an hour.

Council also is seeking a part-time street department worker to be employed a maximum of 24 hours per week at a salary of $13.91 per hour.
