Ross Township police are hosting a Bike Rodeo from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday April 27 at The Block Northway.

Police officers and volunteers will be on hand to guide kids through a course designed to teach them the fundamentals of safe bicycling.

Children also will be able to get their bike inspected by a mechanic to ensure proper fit and function.

Participants should bring their own helmets. A limited number of helmets will be on hand for those who need one.

The rain or shine event will include music, snacks and drinks for the kids and a display of public safety vehicles.
