A woman struck on McKnight Road last week has died, authorities said.

The incident happened just after 8 p.m. April 6 in Ross. The woman was crossing McKnight Road in the area near Roseland Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle.

The busy road was shut down for several hours.

The medical examiner’s office had not identified the woman as of late Tuesday afternoon.

Ross police previously noted there were no signs the driver was intoxicated at the time. Sgt. Brian Kohlhepp said Tuesday the department does not anticipate filing any charges against the driver.
