Northland Public Library is hosting a free screening of the documentary “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 7.
The adults only program will include “Mister Rodgers” related activities and refreshments.

Directed by Los Angeles, Calif., native and University of Pittsburgh graduate Morgan Neville, the film is an exploration of the life, lessons and legacy of iconic children’s television host Fred Rogers.
Neville’s documentary “20 Feet from Stardom” won the 2014 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature as well as a Grammy Award for Best Music Film.
The show “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” was produced by WQED in Pittsburgh from 1968 until August 2001.
Rogers, who was a musician, puppeteer, writer, producer and Presbyterian minister, died on Feb. 27, 2003. He was 74.
The library is located at 300 Cumberland Road in McCandless.
