North Hills area student news for the week of Feb. 21, 2023

Mary Katherine Stewart, Kellie Smith, Dawson Arnold and Luke Wood were named to the dean’s lsit at Belmont University for the fall 2022 semester.

Hollianne Sebrosky, a class of 2023 criminal justice major at York College of Pennsylvania, was named to the fall 2022 dean’s list.

Olivia Whitacre was one of the University of Mount Union students who volunteered for MLK Day of Service. The event, which began in 2010, is coordinated by Mount Union’s Regula Center for Public Service and places volunteers across non-profit locations in the community. This year, 14 organizations benefitted from Mount Union volunteer support, including the Alliance Neighborhood Center, Stark County Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity, Beech Creek Botanical Garden and several others.

Lauren Pavlovic, an early childhood (PK-4) BSEd major at Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2022 semester.

Quinn Peters, a psychology major, was named to the dean’s list at Hofstra University for the fall 2022 semester.

Logan Falk was named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the fall 2022 semester.

Madison Zarone was named to the dean’s list at the University of Scranton for the fall 2022 semester. Zarone is a freshman management major in the university’s Kania School of Management.

Amalia Dudek, a student at Lasell University, was recognized by the institution for outstanding collaboration in the fall 2022 semester in the The Business of Fashion course. Dudek was selected as one of the three best people to work with in this course. Recipients of the Collaboration Recognition Award are selected by their peers for exemplifying superior skills in collaboration by sharing ideas and useful information, communicating in a professional manner, and cooperating in a way to ensure success.

Olivia Perry, Melanie Brkovich, Michael Carlson and Grant Jones were named to the dean’s list at Miami University for the fall 2022 semester.

Natalie DiSante and Daniel Creighton graduated from Youngstown State University in December. DiSante earned a bachelor of science in biological studies and Creighton earned a bachelor of science in computer science.

Rachel May was named to the dean’s list at Lewis University for the fall 2022 semester. May is majoring in biology.

Madelyn Mahoney, a primary intervention specialist major, and Timothy McClelland, a chemical engineering major, earned a 4.0 GPA and were named to the president’s list at Youngstown State University for the fall 2022 semester. Jesse Crownover, Natalie DiSante, Adam Hershberger and Jessica Nock were named to the dean’s list at YSU for the fall 2022 semester.

The following students made the dean’s list at Saint Francis University for the fall 2022 semester: Cole Dorn, Michael Mosbacher, Madison Perry, Harris Robinson and Grayson Swoager.

Lila Zadan was named to the dean’s list at Samford University for the fall 2022 semester.
