North Allegheny School District’s Kennywood Day is Aug. 14.

Tickets can be purchased all summer in the athletic department, at North Allegheny High School.

18th Annual Cindystock

Cindystock, the annual outdoor music festival at the Wexford-Bayne Road home of founders Cindy and Ted Yates, is set for 4 p.m. Aug. 21. Riversong String Ensemble, Blues Orphans and Canaan Cox will all take the stage. The event will help to underwrite local cancer screening tests and support services. Tickets are $50 and include a full dinner buffet, soft drinks and the concert. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit cindystock.org.

Touch-A-Truck

Baierl Family YMCA in Franklin Park will host a Touch-A-Truck display, an interactive sports exhibition by Coach Dave Gray (CDG Sports), carnival-style games and prizes, obstacle course, face painting and food trucks on Aug. 29 from 2-5 p.m.

The goal of the event is to increase exposure and membership in the Y’s Adventure Guides-Parent/Child Program.
