Car Show
The Hampton Presbyterian Church is hosting a Car Show Aug. 28 from 2-8 p.m. All makes and models are welcome.
The grill will be hot, the sodas will be cold and the tunes will be spinning. Feel free to bring your own tables, chairs and EZ-ups. Family-friendly fun, music by a DJ and various food booths. Stroll amongst the vehicles, gab with the owners, then just sit back, relax and enjoy the summer evening.
The church is located at 2942 East Hardies Road in Gibsonia.

North Hills Genealogists presentation
On Sept. 20 at 7 p.m., North Hills Genealogists will present an online, free and open to the public presentation, “The Genealogist’s Google Search Methodology” by Lisa Louise Cooke. Come learn the latest Google search methodology for genealogy. You’ll hear about the latest and best search innovations, and learn the process that will dramatically improve your genealogical search results.
Lisa Louise Cooke is the producer and host of the online genealogy show at www.GenealogyGems.com, the author of several popular genealogy books, and a podcaster and columnist for Family Tree Magazine.

Fall mum sale
Greybrooke Garden Club will be holding a Fall Mum Sale 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 4 at McCandless Crossing in the grassy area near Bonefish Grill. In addition to hardy mums, garden pots, fall and Halloween décor, miscellaneous garden items will be available for sale. McCandless Town Trot
The inaugural McCandless Town Trot will take place on the 20th Anniversary of 9-11 in conjunction with the annual McCandless Community Day celebration. The race will take place on the grounds of North Allegheny Intermediate High School, McKnight Elementary and Carson Middle School. Proceeds and donations from the event will benefit the McCandless Volunteer Fire Departments.

Bradford Woods in-person tax collection
Jordan Tax Service will be collecting taxes in person from 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 27 at the borough office, located in the Bradford Woods Volunteer Fire Company building, 4908 Wexford Run Road. It is strongly recommended face masks be worn inside the building.
