Holiday festivities begin at McCandless Crossing on Nov. 27 with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting on the Town Green from 6 to 8 p.m.

Local singer and guitarist Elias Khouri will play live acoustic holiday music from 6-7 p.m., and dancers from Michele’s Dance Center will perform from 7-8 pm. Santa will arrive on the Town Green and greet children throughout the evening.

Volunteer bell ringers from the North Hills Community Outreach Kettle Campaign will be on site during the Christmas Tree Lighting event.

A menorah lighting ceremony will take place on Dec. 8, at 5:30 p.m. on the McCandless Crossing Town Green near the fountain, between Bonefish Grill and BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. Temple Ohav Shalom congregation members will lead the event to celebrate Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights.
