A new hotel is coming to Mc- Candless Crossing.
AdVenture Development, which developed and manages McCandless Crossing, announced this month that it has been awarded a Hampton Inn & Suites franchise from Hilton Hotels with plans to construct a new hotel, expected to begin in mid-2024.
McCandless Crossing is a 1.2 million mixed-use complex containing retail, medical, hospitality, office, entertainment, residential and senior living lifestyle facilities. It sits at the crossroads of McKnight Road and Duncan Avenue in McCandless.
AdVenture Development, which is headquartered in Raleigh, N.C., selected Pittsburgh-based Prospera Hospitality to manage the future Hampton Inn property, according to AdVenture Development President Kevin Dougherty.
Prospera Hospitality currently manages The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott PittsburghNorth/McCandless Crossing, a 109-room hotel owned and developed by AdVenture Development, according Dougherty.
