The Delmont Public Library will solicit donations one 16-ounce can at a time when they host a soft-release party for a collaboration beer with Yellow Bridge Brewing.

A Sept. 20 launch party will be from 6-9 p.m. at Yellow Bridge, 2266 Route 66 in Delmont, where sales of the “Please Please Please Donate to the Delmont Public Library” brew will benefit library programming.

The evening will include music by Josh Jams.

The beer is a 5.5% ABV “festbier,” a pale German lager popular at Oktoberfests and other festivals.

Library officials will also host an Oct. 4 event at Yellow Bridge from 6-9 p.m. with music by The Phisbins. Sales do not have to take place during one of these events in order to benefit the library.
