Murrysville woman named club president

The International Women’s Club of Monroeville recently introduced Louise Esposito of Murrysville as the club president for the 2023-‘24 year. Esposito has been a member since 1996.

Esposito was born in New York. Her mother was Italian and her father was Swiss-French. She grew up in the same household as her Italian immigrant grandparents. She loved growing up in New York’s melting pot and said that was one of the reasons she was drawn to International Women.

With degrees in hotel and restaurant management as well as in communications, Esposito has worked at a number of Pittsburgh locations over the years including Busy Day Gourmet, the Carnegie Science Center, Chatham College in the alumni and development office and most recently at the Frick Art and Historical Center.

For the last 15 years Esposito has been serving on the Mother of Sorrows Community Food Pantry leadership team as volunteer coordinator and now as its secretary.

International Women was founded in September 1968 and meets monthly in Monroeville.
