Franklin Regional Middle School students will host performances of “Seussical Jr.” by the eighth grade performing arts class this weekend.

The show will be at 7 p.m., May 16-17 in the Little Theater at the school, 4660 Old William Penn Highway in Murrysville.

Tickets are $7 and will be available at the school from 7:30-8:15 a.m., as well as at the door.

Adapted from “Seussical the Musical” and written by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, “Seussical Jr.” is based mostly on Dr. Seuss’ popular book, “Horton Hears a Who,” but draws characters and plot lines from nearly 20 books by the classic children’s author.
