Export council will meet 30 minutes earlier beginning in February.

Council voted unanimously Monday to move its monthly meeting back to 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. Councilman James Mahinske was not present.

Meetings are held at the borough building, 5823 Washington Ave.

In other borough business:

• Incumbent councilmen John Nagoda, David Silvis and Vince Harding took the oath of office for new terms at the Monday meeting. Council also held its annual reorganization meeting, retaining Barry Delissio as president and Melanie Litz as vice president.

Nagoda and Silvis began new four-year terms while Harding started a new two-year term.

Borough auditor Jeannette Zimmerman also was administered the oath of office by District Judge Charles R. Conway.

• The McKinley Avenue retaining wall project is complete. Delissio said work on the street’s water and gas lines is due to take place later this year, and he was hopeful the borough could re-pave it once the work is complete.
