Candidate night set for Murrysville, Franklin Regional primary races

The Murrysville Area American Association of University Women will host a May 10 candidates’ night for local residents running for municipal and school board seats, and they are seeking questions from the public.

The forum will be at 7 p.m. at the Murrysville Municipal Building at 4100 Sardis Road. It will be televised on Comcast local access Channel 19.

Candidates for Murrysville council, mayor and Franklin Regional school director are invited.

AAUW and Murrysville-Export Rotary member Lane Neff will serve as moderator.

Questions for candidates will be developed from public input in advance of the meeting. Email questions to AAUW4candidates@gmail.com.
