Hampton Township School District welcomed back motivational speaker Doug Reavis to Hampton Middle School on May 11.

More than two years ago, Reavis visited with middle school students to share his touching story about his brother and his message of “silent strength.”

This year’s presentation theme, “attitude of gratitude,” aimed to aid students in increasing personal happiness by helping others. Assemblies by grade level began at 9 a.m. and each session lasted for around one hour.

In addition to the presentation, Reavis provided access to his electronic platform, the “You Uplift” Kindness Wall, for the remainder of the current school year and the entirety of next school year. The platform allows students to post kind and uplifting messages and spread love throughout the school community.

All messages must be approved by administrators before being posted to the internal kindness wall.
