No injuries reported in Ross fire

No one was reported injured after a fire broke out early Monday morning at a house in Ross Township, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

Armed robbery in Lincoln Place

Officials said a man brandished a gun and robbed a Dollar General in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln Place neighborhood Sunday night.

Police were alerted to reports of an armed robbery around 9 p.m. in the 5800 block of Buttermilk Hollow Road. A store employee told them that a man had showed his gun before stealing “undisclosed products.”

No injuries were reported.

Police are using surveillance footage in their investigation.

Landslide shuts down road in Moon

A road in Moon Township was closed Sunday because of a landslide that brought down trees and electrical wires, according to Moon police.

Purdy Road between McGovern Boulevard and Laurel Ridge Drive was shut down Sunday after the slide. Police said there was not a timetable on when it would reopen.

It’s the second Moon area road to be impacted by landslides in the past week. Beaver Grade Road closed down Friday morning between Duckhorn Road and Montour Run Road.
