Theft, firearms charges among those filed by Monroeville police June 9, 2021

The following charges were filed June 9 with Monroeville District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst. Charges were filed by Monroe­ville police:

• Michael Farneth, 38, of Monroeville with two counts of theft by unlawful taking. Charges were filed June 9 in connection with an incident along the 4300 block of Northern Pike.

• Wayne Blye, 28, of Pittsburgh with providing unsworn falsification to authorities and intentionally making a materially false written statement involving the sale or transfer of firearms. Charges were filed June 9 in connection with an incident along the 3700 block of William Penn Highway.

• James Crivella, 28, of Glenshaw with driving with a suspended license, accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, careless driving and tampering with physical evidence. Charges were filed June 9 in connection with an incident at Stroschein Road at Monroeville Boulevard.
