Mini golf fundraiser at Monroeville library

The Monroeville Public Library will host two miniature golf fundraisers on Feb. 24.

The first is an all-ages event at 10 a.m. with the final tee off at 3:45 p.m. The cost is $5 per person to play the 18-hole course, and children ages 3 and younger are admitted free.

The second is a 21-and-over event at 6 p.m., with the final tee off at 9:45 p.m. Tickets are $35 and include unlimited mini golf, food and drinks. Options will include alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

All proceeds benefit the library, which is at 4000 Gateway Campus Boulevard.

Blue light bulb sales support Monroeville police

Monroeville officials are selling blue light bulbs and proceeds will benefit the Monroeville Police Benevolent Fund.

The Blue Light Project will offer the bulbs for $10 at the Monroeville Parks and Recreation Department at 2700 Monroeville Boulevard. Community members can also purchase and install their own blue 9-watt LED bulb to show support for the police.

Kindergarten registration open

Gateway School District officials announced that kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year is open.

Parents can go to Gatewayk12.org/ resources/parent-resources/registration to complete an online enrollment form. Kindergarten screenings will take place in May.
