Greater Works Church in Monroeville announces the much-anticipated return of its Holy Spirit Seminar, “Miracles Happen!”

After a three-year hiatus, Greater Works’s doors will open to the community on July 10 to 14 with worship, empowering teachings and personal ministry.

“I couldn’t be more excited to get it started again after the hiatus. Everything in the world is kind of crazy right now, but we’re just going to take a step of faith, open our doors and see what happens,” Pastor Gary Mitrik said.

Pastor Gary and Karen Mitrik host the Holy Spirit Seminar with esteemed speakers, including Pastor Samuel Rodriguez, the Rev. Sean Smith, Bishop Joseph Garlington, Apostle Malik Edwards and Rebecca Greenwood.

Doors open at 5 o’clock each day for that evening’s seminar. All events are free, including the children’s ministry, which requires only online registration.

“So many people tell us it’s like a spiritual vacation for them. Just coming here for that week, they get refreshed, ministered to and filled up. When the week is over, they return to their churches and feel like all they have received carries them through,” Gary Mitrik said.

In addition to the main seminar, Greater Works will offer specialized sessions for different age groups. A nightly nursery will be available for parents of children up to 3 years old. Vacation Bible school for preschoolers through fifth-graders will take place at 6:30 p.m.

A Synergy youth seminar for sixth- through 12th-grade students will be held at 7 o’clock each evening. The Greater Works cafe opens at 5:30, offering a variety of refreshments.

“As a pastor, my blessing is when I see people sharing and telling us how blessed they were because of what they experienced during the seminar. People coming in hurt, needing healing, and leaving an entirely different way is so special,” Mitrik said.
