School food prices at Gateway will increase slightly heading into the new school year.
Lunches in all schools will increase by 10 cents. The new prices are:
• High School: $2.95
• Gateway Middle School: $2.85
• Moss Side Middle School: $2.70
• Elementary schools: $2.70
Breakfast meals in all schools will increase by 5 cents. The new prices are:
• High School: $1.45
• Gateway Middle School: $1.45
• Moss Side Middle School: $1.40
• Elementary schools: $1.40
The cafeteria budget for the upcoming school year will amount to $1.9 million and reflects a slight increase of $2,000 in spending.
