A woman died after a three-vehicle crash in Monroeville Friday morning, Allegheny County Police said.

The crash involving a tractor-trailer with an oversized load, a car and a minivan was reported shortly after 9 a.m. in the 2100 block of Mosside Boulevard.

According to county police, the tractor-trailer and car were heading north on Mosside when the car slowed to make a left turn into a parking lot and was hit by the tractor-trailer. The car then hit a minivan heading south on Mosside.

The woman driving the car was trapped inside her vehicle, police said. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A man in the car was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.

A man and a woman in the minivan were also in stable condition.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt and stayed at the scene, police said.

Detectives were investigating.
