Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream has opened a seasonal shop in North Park.

The shop opened July 1, and Millie’s franchisee Nicole Caravella, who also owns the Millie’s at the Village at Pine Plaza, says it features Millie’s classic ice creams and vegan gelatos, milkshakes and floats. It will also offer freshly brewed Mechanic Coffee from Verona, as well as Mechanic’s canned cold brew, Smiley Cookies from Eat ‘n Park and Twin Brook Dairy Co. chocolate milk. There are also gluten-free and allergen-friendly options.

The North Park shop is located at 1000 Tennis Court Lane, Allison Park, next to Kayak Pittsburgh and OTB North Park.

“My staff is excited to welcome everyone to the newest Millie’s location,” Caravella said.

The shop is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream was founded in 2014 by husband-and-wife team, Chad and Lauren Townsend, and now includes more than a dozen brick-and-mortar shops, catering and event trucks and seasonal locations.
