Memorial Park Church is teaming up with Vitalant to host a blood drive from 2-7 p.m. on Monday, July 25. The blood drive will be hosted in the Clayton Center on the main campus at 8800 Peebles Road in McCandless. Child care will be provided for parents who want to donate.
Donors will also have a chance to sign up for the national bone marrow registry through Be the Match. A simple cheek swab is all that is needed to get started.
Potential donors can make an appointment online by visiting donateblood.centralbloodbank.org and using the group code G0010103 to schedule. Walk-ins are also welcome, though appointments are recommended.
