The McCandless Democratic Scholarship Committee is seeking applicants for a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded to a civic-minded North Allegheny School District Area senior planning post-secondary education.
The scholarship recognizes a student who has excelled academically, is engaged in the community, and exemplifies the values Democrats hold dear.
The application and submission information can be found at the North Allegheny guidance office or at www.mccandlessdems.org/scholarship.
Applications can be emailed to scholarship@mccandlessdemocrats.org. Applicants with questions can contact the scholarship committee at that email address.
Applications must be submitted by the end of day April 8. Candidates will be interviewed by Zoom the following week.
Those who complete the scholarship application by hand should make sure the information is legible and mail the application c to the address on the application.
