A man was shot in the torso in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood early Sunday.

Pittsburgh Police responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Lincoln and Lemington avenues just after 2:30 a.m.

Police said when they arrived they found a man shot in the torso. He was taken by emergency transport to a Pittsburgh area hospital.

He was in critical condition early Sunday, police said.

Police couldn’t provide an update on the victim’s condition Sunday evening due to privacy reasons, said Amanda Mueller, a spokeswoman for Pittsburgh Public Safety.

No arrests have been made; the investigation is ongoing.
