Man killed in Homewood shooting

A man was killed in a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood early Saturday morning, Pittsburgh police said.

The victim, who was not identified, was found at about 2:55 a.m. with multiple gunshots in his torso and legs in the 6600 block of Frankstown Avenue, police said.

Medics transported him in critical condition, but he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police have not made any arrests as of early Saturday morning. Anyone with information on this homicide is asked to call the department’s Major Crimes unit at 412- 323-7161.
